Korigad- To the west of the Pawana dam is the Mawal of Korbarase. The forts Korigad and Ghangad lay this region. Korigad is built near the Savashni Ghat, which connects Lonavla and Pali. This fort is well known due to its fortification that is still intact. Koraigad appears like a wall from Peth Shahpur. On the top of the fort is a huge plateau. While coming up from the Peth-Shahpur route, we come across many caves, some cisterns and an idol of lord Ganesh. From here Nagphani Point, Tung, Tikona, Matheran, Prabalgad, Karnala and Manikgad ranges can be viewed.
