Raireshwar, the very fort where Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took the oath of Swarajya at the age of 16. Trek to Raireshwar is a moderate level trek and starts from a small village called Korle. Raireshwar is a plateau along Koleshwar, Mahabaleshwar in the adjacent mountain range. Raireshwar is situated in the Bhor Taluka around 75 kms south of Pune City. Trek to the top of Raireshwar takes around 2 hrs. You will visit Bhavani Mata Mandir and cave from Pandav Era. A beautiful and ideal monsoon trek and a must do for all trekking enthusiasts.
