Madhe Upande is a ancient Ghatwat in Western ghats of Sahyadri located near Velha. Madhe ghat trek starts from Kelad village. First we will descend Upande ghat. Descend of one and half hour will take us to the small village named as Karnawadi located in the middle plateau. From this village to the base of Madhe ghat there is a beautiful jungle walk of an hour. During this walk one can witness the variety of floura and founa, variety of birds and stream crossings.
It will take another one hour to ascent Madhe ghat. One can witness the beautiful view of Kokan region from Madhe ghat top. (Depends on weather.)

Age Group: Open for all above 10 yrs (children between 10 to 15 yrs should be accompanied by at least 1 parent/guardian)
