The Har Ki Doon trek, also known as the Valley of Gods, is a breathtaking 43 km journey through Uttarakhand’s Garhwal Himalayas. The trek starts from Sankri village and progresses alongside the Supin River, offering crossings over clear streams and glimpses of charming villages. Trek Fees: INR 18500/- + GST (at actual)

Cancellation Policy:

  1. If cancellation is made one month or more prior to the trek, we will refund 100% of the paid amount
  2. If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days prior to the trek, we will refund 50% of the paid amount
  3. If the cancellation is made within 15 days prior to the trek, there will be no refund.

If the trek gets cancelled due to any any natural calamities like Uttarakhand floods, Nepal Earthquake, Covid-19 pandemic, we will refund the trek fees deducting actual expenses incurred depending on the stage of the trek.

Itinerary

Start your day by arriving in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. From Dehradun, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Sankri, a small village located about 170 km away. The drive to Sankri takes approximately 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Sankri, check into your guesthouse and relax for the rest of the evening.

After breakfast, you will drive from Sankri to Taluka, a small village located about 12 km away.
From Taluka, you will start your trek to Pauni Garaat, a campsite located about 13 km away. The trek to Pauni Garaat is relatively easy and takes about 4-5 hours to complete. The trail passes through forests of pine, oak, and rhododendron. Along the way, you will also see some beautiful waterfalls and streams. Upon reaching Pauni Garaat, set up your camp and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

After breakfast, you will trek from Pauni Garaat to Kalkattiyadhaar, a campsite located about 8 km away. The trek to Kalkattiyadhaar is a bit more challenging than the previous day's trek and takes about 3-4 hours to complete. The trail climbs steadily through forests of birch and juniper. Along the way, you will also see some spectacular views of the Har Ki Dun valley. Upon reaching Kalkattiyadhaar, set up your camp and enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, including Swargarohini, Hata, and Black Peak.

After breakfast, you will embark on the most challenging part of the trek, the ascent to Har Ki Dun, a high mountain pass located at an altitude of 3,566 meters. The trek to Har Ki Dun takes about 6-7 hours to complete. The trail is steep and rocky, and you will need to use your hands and feet in some sections. However, the views from the summit are simply breathtaking.
After spending some time at the summit, you will descend back to Kalkattiyadhaar.

After breakfast, you will trek from Kalkattiyadhaar to Pauni Garaat, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, you will trek from Pauni Garaat to Taluka, where you will have lunch. In the afternoon, you will drive from Taluka to Sankri.

After breakfast, you will drive from Sankri to Dehradun, where you can catch your flight or train back home.
