Overview

Kalsubai peak is situated in the Ahemadnagar District. The top of Kalsubai is at 5400 feet above sea level and the trek to the top starts from the base village Bari. It will take around three hours to reach the top. we will start trek on 1st January by 3.30 AM and reach top by 6.30 AM to witness the first sunrise in year 2023.

Age Group: Open for all above 10 yrs (children between 10 to 15 yrs should be accompanied by at least 1 parent/guardian)

Things To Carry: Sack, 3 lit. water, Extra pair of clothes, Sun Cap, Walking sticks (Optional), Head/Hand tourch, Sweater/Jacket, Dry Snacks

Eligibility: Average fitness level required

Day 1 :
For Pune Participants

Day 1: 31st December 2022
09.30 PM: Reporting @ Ferguson Collegemain gate
10.00 PM: Reporting @ Khadaki Railway Station
10.15 PM: Reporting @ Nashik Phata

Day 2: 01st January 2023
03.00 AM: Reach base village Bari
03.30 AM: Start the trek after refreshment
06.30 AM: Reach the top of Kalsubai Peak to watch sunrise
12.00 PM: Reach back to Bari village
12.30 PM: Lunch at Bari village
02.00 PM: Return journey to Pune
08.00 PM: Dinner @Manchar
09.30 PM: Reach Pune

Refreshment once your reach Bari Village, Hot Breakfast & Tea during trek, Lunch after the trek and dinner will be arranged by GAF.

Day 2 :
For Mumbai Participants

01st January 2023
01.30 AM: Reach Kasara Railway station on your own
01.45 AM: Start journey from Kasara
03.00 AM: Reach base village Bari
03.30 AM: Start the trek after refreshment
06.30 AM: Reach the top of Kalsubai Peak to watch sunrise
12.00 PM: Reach back to Bari village
12.30 PM: Lunch at Bari village
02.00 PM: Return journey to Kasara
03.30 PM: Reach Kasara Railway Station

Refreshment once your reach Bari Village, Hot Breakfast & Tea during trek, Lunch after the trek will be arranged by GAF.
