Overview
Koleshwar is a huge plateau to the North of Mahabaleshwar. The trek starts from a small village Kirunde which is about 25 kms from Wai. A gradual hike of about 2.5 hrs through dense bushes and grass takes you to the plateau. As you reach the top, you will come across couple of families staying on the plateau for the past many generations. and an ancient Shiv-Koleshwar Temple. One can witness the magnificant view of Dhom dam, wai, kamalgad, Raireshwar, Kenjalgad from the top.
Age Group: Open for all above 10 yrs (children between 10 to 15 yrs should be accompanied by at least 1 parent/guardian)
Trek Fee: Rs. 1,300 /- (Inc. GST)
Eligibility: Average fitness level required
