Overview
Kedarkanth, a trekking peak situated in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand in the Govind National Park has turned out to be an attraction for seasoned trekkers as well as for amateurs. People often get confused between Kedarkanth and Kedarnath (which is a famous Shiv Temple). Kedarkanth trek offers a splendid view from the summit.
Trek starts from a small village Sankri situated at an altitude of 1950 m. There are two camps before the summit – Juda ka talab and base camp. The stretch from base camp to the summit is what that takes a toll and is considered to be a challenging one through snowy conditions. The view from the summit is inexpressible, you need to get there and experience it for yourself!
