About Bhorgiri Bhimashankar
An easy route to trek up the Bhimashankar Temple is via Bhorgiri village. The trail to Bhimashankar through Bhorgiri involves approximately three hours of trekking across the jungle to reach Gupt Bhimashankar. En route the top, you will also come across waterfalls and streams where you can snap amazing pictures with beautiful settings. As the temple is located in Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, you have a great chance of witnessing ‘Shekru’, the Indian Giant Squirrel
