The trek spans about 6-8 kilometers round trip, with moderate to challenging sections due to rocky terrain, water crossings, and narrow gorges. The valley itself is a deep, 200-feet narrow gorge surrounded by towering cliffs, offering breathtaking views and a unique landscape. The trek involves navigating through boulders, water streams, making it an ideal adventure for those seeking excitement. The best time to trek is during the winter months (October to March), though the monsoon offers lush greenery but increases the difficulty. It takes approximately 5-7 hours to complete, with highlights including the stunning Sandhan Valley, bouldering, and scenic views of surrounding hills.

Sandhan Valley is a deep canyon located in the heart of Sahyadri mountains. This valley is also called the valley of shadows as the sunlight does not reach the floor of the Valley. It’s one of the most interesting physical features found in India.

On day 1 the programme involves a wonderful camping near at the top of Sandhan valley and enjoying the sunset view, and camp interactions.

On Day 2, The group will trek to the Sandhan Valley view point.
