    01

    Arrival at Naggar (1,650 m)

    Reach Naggar. Naggar is a very ancient town and was the capital of the erstwhile Kullu Rajas for about 1400 years. Famous places to visit Naggar include the Naggar castle, Gauri Shankar Temple, and Vasuki Naag Temple. Activity: Equipment sorting, Visit Naggar castle and the town.

    Reach camp 1

    Start your journey by traveling to Kasheri in a vehicles, where the trek commences. This trek begins along a fair-weather road from the charming old village of Kasheri. It guides you through a dense forest filled with majestic pines, firs, cedars, and apple orchards. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the Kullu valley and its snow-capped peaks.

    Reach camp 2 (Mahili Thatch)

    Its again an uphill trek with some breathtaking views through the forest of silver oak

    Height gain to Rani Sui lake (3800 m) and back to Mahili Thatch

    Today is a steady ascent on a snowfield with the scenic ridges to Rani Sui lake. The lake at Rani Sui is a small mountain tarn with a 360 degree view of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges. After spending some time at the lake, everyone heads back to mahili thatch.

    Mahili Thatch to Naggar Campsite

    Descend down to the Kasheri Village through the beautiful meadows and the forest of Oak and Pine. Then drive back to Naggar Campsite.

    Leisure Day at Naggar and Departure

    Free day at Naggar or a Visit to Manali Market and transfer to bus in the evening for Delhi.

How safe is this trek?

Ali Bedni Bugyal is a perfect trek for beginners with a couple of challenging sections. This is why it’s a trek we recommend to many beginners, families and even those starting trekking late in their lives. Definitely the snow adds challenge to the trek but unseen vistas of Kumaon Himalayas and wide expanse of beautiful Bugyals.

Give me some fitness tips required for the trek

Trekkers are supposed to be in good physical conditions. You should increase the level of intensity of training over 2-3 months period. Apart from daily fitness, you should carry 3-5 KG load on your back during the practice treks. Strength training and routine cardio will help you simulate the trekking conditions.

Climate and Temperature during the trek

The weather in the season ranges from 1-10 degrees Celsius in lower places and 5 to -5 degrees Celsius as you go to higher positions. In the winter season, there is a high chance of snow, and the day remains a little overcast.

This means that in the event of unforeseen circumstances, we may not be able to obtain refunds from our suppliers. As a result, we may not be able to absorb additional costs that may arise due to such disruptions, and the participant will be responsible for these costs.

Government Restrictions: Please note that government regulations or advisories may restrict access to certain areas due to adverse weather conditions or other safety concerns. If such restrictions are imposed during your trek, we may need to alter the itinerary or terminate the trek early. In such cases, we may not be able to provide a full refund.

However, we remain committed to providing the best possible experience and will do everything within our power to assist you during any unforeseen challenges.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. If cancellation is made one month or more prior to the trek, we will refund 100% of the paid amount.

2. If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days prior to the trek, we will refund 50% of the paid amount.

3. If the cancellation is made within 15 days prior to the trek, there will be no refund.

4. If the trek gets cancelled due to any any natural calamities like Uttarakhand floods, Nepal Earthquake, Covid-19 pandemic, we will refund the trek fees deducting actual expenses incurred depending on the stage of the trek.
