This area is ideal for bird watchers and cave explorers, with the trail descending to the Dhumrera Valley in Devidhar Valley or Taklech Valley in the Rampur area. Dhumrera village is famous for its high-altitude medicinal plant center. This trek is renowned for its unexplored caves near Ropra top, featuring stunning natural rock formations and numerous bird species. Itinerary
Your adventure begins with a drive from Shimla to Sungri. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the journey as you pass through dense forests of oak and pine. Upon reaching Sungri, embark on an easy one-hour trek to Gujjar Channi campsite. Surrounded by nature’s splendor, prepare for the days ahead as you settle into your campsite.
Wake up to the melodious symphony of nature. After a hearty breakfast, embark on a trek through a captivating landscape of cedar and oak trees in snow. Traverse through the vast expanse of Gujjar Channi, a picturesque grazing ground filled completely with snow. Discover the hidden treasures of the region as you explore ancient caves adorned with natural rock formations and a vibrant birdlife. Conclude the day at Ropra Camp, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas.
Prepare for the highlight of your trek as you ascend to Moral Danda Peak. The climb is rewarded with panoramic views of the Baspa Range and snow-capped mountains. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the peak, known for its rich flora and fauna. After capturing unforgettable memories, descend back to Ropra Camp for a well-deserved rest.
Relish your final morning in the mountains with a hearty breakfast. Embark on a descent to Sungri, taking approximately three hours to reach Kharapathar homestay.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. If cancellation is made one month or more prior to the trek, we will refund 100% of the paid amount.
2. If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days prior to the trek, we will refund 50% of the paid amount.
3. If the cancellation is made within 15 days prior to the trek, there will be no refund.
4. If the trek gets cancelled due to any any natural calamities like Uttarakhand floods, Nepal Earthquake, Covid-19 pandemic, we will refund the trek fees deducting actual expenses incurred depending on the stage of the trek.
FAQs
Mural Danda Peak is a perfect trek for beginners with a couple of challenging sections. This is why it’s a trek we recommend to many beginners, families and even those starting trekking late in their lives.
Trekkers are supposed to be in good physical conditions. You should increase the level of intensity of training over 2-3 months period. Apart from daily fitness, you should carry 3-5 KG load on your back during the practice treks. Strength training and routine cardio will help you simulate the trekking conditions.
The weather in the season ranges from 1-10 degrees Celsius in lower places and 5 to -5 degrees Celsius as you go to higher positions. In the winter season, there is a high chance of snow, and the day remains a little overcast.
