Begin your adventure with a scenic drive through Kumaon’s serene landscapes. Pass
through Almora, Bageshwar, and Munsiyari en route to Gogina, a charming Himalayan
village surrounded by lush greenery and towering peaks.
Altitude: 8,200 ft (2,500m)
Distance: 7 km trek, 4-5 hours
Experience breathtaking views of the snow-clad Nanda Devi and Panchachuli ranges. Overnight camp at Chaphu Top with panoramic mountain vistas.
Altitude: 10,500 ft (3,200m)
Distance: 7 km trek, 4-5 hours
Ascend gradually through alpine meadows with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks
like Nanda Kot and Nanda Devi. Experience breathtaking views of the snow-clad Nanda Devi and
Panchachuli ranges. Overnight camp at Chaphu Top with panoramic mountain vistas.
Altitude (Nandkund): 11,600 ft (3,530m)
Distance: 11 km trek, 6-7 hours
Traverse through pristine wilderness, with silvery mountain views that will take away the fatigue of the day’s trek. Camp near Nandkund with stunning surroundings.
Altitude (Ranthan Top): 3,930 m / 12,887 ft
Altitude (Parava Thor): 2,800 m / 9,200 ft
Distance: 9 km | Duration: 8-9 hrs
Climb to Ranthan Top for breathtaking views of Kumaon’s iconic peaks, then descend to
Parava Thor. This leg is the trek’s highlight, combining adventure with unmatched
scenery.

Distance: 11 km trek, 6-7 hours
Retrace your steps through the scenic trails, descending back to Chaphu Top. Overnight camp with stunning views.
Altitude: 6,500 ft (1,980m)
Distance: 15 km trek, 7-8 hours
Enjoy the downhill trek through vibrant meadows and lush forests. Reach Gogina Village and relax after completing the trek.
Distance: 227 km, 8-9 hours drive
Scenic return drive through the beautiful valleys of Kumaon, enjoying the last glimpses of the mountains. Arrival in Kathgodam and the conclusion of the trek.

FAQs
Namik Glacier is a moderate level trek for adventure seekers with a couple of challenging sections. This is why it’s a trek we recommend to many mountaineers as well as nature lovers. Definitely there are challenging sections on the trek but unseen vistas of Kumaon Himalayas and wide panoramic views of high rise mountains, bring solace to a trekker on the route.
Trekkers are supposed to be in good physical conditions. You should increase the level of intensity of training over 2-3 months period. Apart from daily fitness, you should carry 3-5 KG load on your back during the practice treks. Strength training and routine cardio will help you simulate the trekking conditions.
The weather in the season ranges from 5-15 degrees Celsius in lower places and 1 to 10 degrees Celsius as you go to higher positions.

Additional Costs:
In the event of such disruptions, additional costs may be incurred for the following, which the participant will be responsible for:
Emergency Transportation: Helicopter evacuations or alternative flight or road transportation arrangements may be necessary due to weather conditions or route closures.
Accommodation Changes: If the original itinerary cannot be followed, we may need to make alternative accommodation arrangements.
Insurance Premiums: While we recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen expenses, please note that the cost of insurance is not included in our tour package. Participants must follow up with their insurance company for any disputes. We will assist with any required documentation or information from our organization but cannot guarantee insurance coverage.
Other Uncertain Additional Expenses: Any unforeseen expenses that may arise due to disruptions.

This means that in the event of unforeseen circumstances, we may not be able to obtain refunds from our suppliers. As a result, we may not be able to absorb additional costs that may arise due to such disruptions, and the participant will be responsible for these costs.
Government Restrictions: Please note that government regulations or advisories may restrict access to certain areas due to adverse weather conditions or other safety concerns. If such restrictions are imposed during your trek, we may need to alter the itinerary or terminate the trek early. In such cases, we may not be able to provide a full refund.
However, we remain committed to providing the best possible experience and will do everything within our power to assist you during any unforeseen challenges.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. If cancellation is made one month or more prior to the trek, we will refund 100% of the paid amount.
2. If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days prior to the trek, we will refund 50% of the paid amount.
3. If the cancellation is made within 15 days prior to the trek, there will be no refund.
4. If the trek gets cancelled due to any any natural calamities like Uttarakhand floods, Nepal Earthquake, Covid-19 pandemic, we will refund the trek fees deducting actual expenses incurred depending on the stage of the trek.
